Primary Purpose of this Job

The primary purpose of this job is to troubleshoot and repair various CNC machining centers and manufacturing equipment, implement and expedite general maintenance functions, and improve the facilities within the policies and procedures of the EH&S and Maintenance departments.

Essential Functions (other duties may be assigned)

• Conduct full diagnostics to limit the need for outside services
• Conduct TPMs and hydraulic repairs as needed
• Conduct mechanical and electrical repairs to machining centers and manufacturing equipment as needed
• Collect data on equipment to be able to analyze downtime history
• Handle breakdowns and maintenance
• Using GDT&A familiarity, perform any specific measurements needed on CNC machines
• Devise methods of altering machinery and equipment to improve operating characteristics
• Work with QA, MFG, and CT to maintain trouble-free equipment
• Fabricate and rebuild various mechanical assemblies
• Check machine accuracy and adjust accordingly
• Perform all-around maintenance and minor building repairs as needed.

Requirements

Basic Qualifications

• High school diploma
• 3-5 years of experience in maintenance
• Experience with technical troubleshooting.
