ATI Insulation, Inc is Hiring an Area Manager Near Odessa, TX

Area Manager

ATI Insulation, Inc. is an Industrial Insulation, Scaffolding Contractor, primarily working in the Industrial Construction Industry. ATI Insulation, Inc. started in 2001 and now has multiple locations in CO, WY, & TX. We offer competitive pay and a full benefits package. Successful candidate will be hired out of our Odessa, TX. location.

Summary/Objective

The Area Manager is responsible for the operations of the area assigned. The Area Manager has the primary management responsibility for client relations and the production of the area projects. This will be accomplished by managing the field/shop production crews and office administrative assistant help. The Area Superintendent reports directly to the Area Manager. The Area Manager is ultimately responsible for all the functioning pieces and the financial success of the area. The Area manager is the communication bridge between the area and executive management.

Essential Functions

  1. Manage the overall production of the area projects. 
  2. Supervise and Coordinate multiple projects with the ATI PM & construction teams.
  3. Facilitate as Project Manager on smaller projects. Work with the assigned Project Manager on larger projects.
  4. Position does require office & field time. Out on the projects communicating with the Superintendent, Foreman and customers.
  5. Maintain Great client relations and collaborate efforts with the company Sales Representatives.
  6. Create Schedules: Project Milestone Schedules, Man Power Schedules, Invoicing Schedules, Training Schedules.
  7. Efficiently collaborate with the Estimating Department/PM to ensure project budgets, quality and specifications are accomplished.
  8. Produce, compile and submit documents to internal departments, such as Work Tickets, JSA, Work Permit, Production Reports and QA/QC Reports.
  9. Comply with company Processes and Procedures.
  10. Collaborate efficiently with other company departments.
  11. Facilitate as the Hiring Manager for the area staff along with staff mentoring, training and developing all positions.
  12. Prepare and maintain reports necessary for the functions of the area.
  13. Create and review performance data and reports. Monitor and measure area productivity.

Management Responsibility

The position directly manages employees and carries out management responsibilities in accordance with the organization’s policies and applicable laws. Responsibilities include hiring, training employees; planning, assigning and directing work; appraising performance; rewarding and disciplining employees; addressing complaints and resolving problems.

Work Environment

The essential functions for this position include office, driving, and work site environments.

Position Type/Expected Hours of Work

This is a full-time position with a minimum of 50 hours per week (may require additional hours depending on the needs of the business). This schedule is subject to change at any time and without notice.

Travel

Day Travel is expected for this position. Area of Coverage is West Texas and South East New Mexico.

Preferred Education and Experience

  • 5 years’ experience in Industrial Insulation and Scaffolding.
  • 5 years’ Management experience with Industrial Construction and Energy Industry Construction.
  • Competent comprehension of P&ID’s, ISO’s, SOW, Orthographic Drawings, 3D programs
  • Bachelors of Science Degree. Preferably Construction Management or Equivalent work experience.

Start Date: Immediate

Wage: Base Wage Plus Commission

This is a Senior Management Level Salary position and is negotiable Depending on Qualifications.
