Position Summary:
The Director, Program Management is responsible for leading operational and organizational strategy and execution. From developing project charters through validation of improvement and opportunities, and leading process improvement initiatives, this leader will be wholly responsible for leading cross functional project teams and associated projects to success. Through leading high-impact projects, this leader will play a key role in ensuring proven process improvement methodologies become a way of life at Athletico.

Responsibilities:
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
The below is not an exhaustive list of duties and you will be expected to perform different tasks as necessitated by your changing role within the organization and the overall business objectives of the organization.
  • Create and prioritize enterprise project management with focus on the highest value programs for the Onsite business
  • Lead process improvement projects, delivering significant quantifiable operational improvement and financial benefits across the organization
  • Expert in interface management and ability to understand and manage dependencies. Serve as internal consultant to conduct root cause problem solving and countermeasure identification for critical business opportunities.
  • Improve processes to reduce non-value-added activity, thereby increasing value and improving the Customer experience
  • Partner with management to assess current processes, identify improvement opportunities and convey the value of continuous process improvement
  • Quantify potential and actual benefits in terms of quality, cost and delivery
  • Identify processes improvement opportunities, propose lean processes and drive their successful implementation
  • Deploy Lean and other process improvement methodologies across the Enterprise. Implement cost savings/revenue generating projects and initiatives.
  • Establish appropriate controls, metrics and monitoring processes to ensure gains are sustained
  • Develop and Enhance Implementation Playbook for all cross functional teams involved in the strategy, planning and execution of a new client implementation.
  • Develop tools for tracking progress, risks, and synergies related to enterprise program management
  • Lead and develop staff through on‐boarding, open communication, training and development opportunities and performance management processes; build and maintain employee morale and motivation; ensure the team is appropriately staffed with required competencies.
Qualifications:
Qualifications:
Education:
  • Bachelor of Administration or Science degree, BS in Industrial engineering preferred
Work Experience:
  • 3 years of experience leading enterprise projects
  • Healthcare experience helpful
  • Demonstrated analytic capability
  • Experience in the application of transactional problem-solving methods
  • Demonstrated ability and desire to lead change through a diverse portfolio of projects
  • Can differentiate between cost savings types and relate project impact to customer experience, productivity, capacity and delivery improvements in quantifiable terms.
Certification/Licensure:
  • Project Management Professional (PMP) preferred
Knowledge and Technical Skills:
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with ability to work effectively at all levels
  • Objective, open-minded, out-of-the-box thinker and change agent
  • Ability to disassociate past practice and visualize and implement change in the face of obstacles
  • Results and action-oriented; organized; ability to deal with ambiguity; a problem solver
  • Ability to work as a team player with enthusiasm
  • Ability to talk candidly and openly to affect and influence teammates at all organizational levels
  • Computer skills, including MS word, Excel, and PowerPoint, statistical software such as JMP or Minitab a plus. Familiarity with other enterprise software
  • May travel up to twenty (20) percent of work week

  • Ability to read, write and speak English proficiently
