Description

Athens Orthopedic Clinic is seeking either a CSFA, CSA, CST providing professional and quality patient care in a cohesive team environment in the western corridor offices. Position will initially be part time but has potential to be full time

This position will work within the Loganville and Monroe clinic (possibly Snellville) as well as the ASC's and hospitals as required.

OR Skills required:

1. Ability to suture

2. OR room turnover

3. Patient positioning

4. OR instrumentation

5. insurance knowledge

6. Surgery coding knowledge

7. Surgical assisting skills including layered wound closure

Education/Experience: The successful candidate will possess the following education and experience:

1. Graduate of accredited Surgical Tech program.

2. Graduate of a Surgical First Assist program

3. Current certification as Surgical Tech/First Assist.

4. Current BLS certification required.

5. Two (2) year experience preferred.

6. Must be an energetic, flexible, multi-tasking team member

7. Must pass drug screen and background check
