Athens Neighborhood Health Center is Hiring a Call Center Representative Near Athens, GA

Athens Neighborhood Health Center is looking for its newest team members! As we continue to grow, this will be our first implementation of a call center. Candidates with call center experience, medical experience and/or knowledge as well as bilingual candidates will be strongly preferred. See if ANHC is the right fit for you!

Call Center Representatives complete customer service tasks that ensure customers have the information and assistance they need and maintain the company’s positive reputation. They often have the following:

Responsibilities

  • Take customer calls and provide accurate, satisfactory answers to their queries and concerns
  • Schedule patient appointments
  • De-escalate situations involving dissatisfied customers, offering patient assistance and support
  • Guide callers through troubleshooting, navigating the company site or using the products or services
  • Review patient accounts, providing updates and basic information about billing, appointments, or other site-related information
  • Collaborate with other call center professionals to improve customer service
  • Transferring calls as necessary to alternate departments, such as Site Managers, the pharmacy, and billing departments
  • Research required information using available resources
  • Research, identify, and resolve customer complaints using applicable software
  • Document all call information according to standard operating procedures
  • Follow up on customer calls where necessary
  • Other duties as assigned

Qualifications and Skills

  • 1 Year experience in call center setting preferred
  • Excellent communication skills
  • Organized and detail-oriented
  • Basic computer and Office skills
  • Basic medical terminology, experience in the medical field preferred
  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Proficient in relevant computer applications
  • Knowledge of customer service practices and principles
  • Excellent data entry and typing skills
  • Superior listening, verbal, and written communication skills
  • Ability to handle stressful situation appropriately
  • Bilingual (Spanish) strongly preferred

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $15.00 per hour
