CASHIER / ACCOUNTING CLERK

Athens Dodge Chrysler Jeep Ram is seeking to hire a friendly Cashier / Accounting Clerk to assist customers and support our daily operations. Hours:

Monday – Friday: 9:00 am – 6:00 pm with 1 hour for lunch

Responsibilities - Cashier / Accounting Clerk:

• Take payments by cash, check or credit card, and make cash change
• Provide a professional, friendly impression to customers and visitors, handles telephone calls and messages in a courteous and efficient manner
• Assist in the Service and Parts departments
• Perform clerical duties to support the operation of our daily business
• Prepare daily bank deposit
• Perform accounts receivable duties including write-offs, payment reversal and posting cash receipts
• Compile and maintain verified accounts receivable and payable records, reconcile statements

Qualifications – Cashier / Accounting Clerk:

• Previous Cashiering and/or Accounting / Clerical experience is preferred
• Previous dealership accounting experience preferred
• Previous administrative and customer service experience a plus!
• Good communication skills and attention to detail
• Works well in a fast-paced environment
• Professional appearance and a positive attitude
• Good work ethic and computer skills
• Valid driver's license and good driving record
