Job Title: Certified Tumor Registrar
Responsibilities:

• Accurately abstract cancer data from medical records.
• Maintain a comprehensive cancer registry database.
• Collaborate with healthcare providers for accurate documentation.
• Conduct quality assurance audits for data accuracy.
• Stay updated on cancer reporting standards and regulations.

Skills:

• Three years experience Tumor Registry experience in an acute care hospital or equivalent abstracting experience.
• Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy and physiology.

Certification/Licenses:

• Tumor Registry certification (CTR)
• RHIA
• RHIT
• Medical Terminology
