Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA Local Contract Position

**Competitive Pay of $30 to $32/hour**

13 Weeks Contract

Job Summary:
The Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) at ATC-Northwest is responsible for assisting the healthcare team in providing quality care to patients. This is a full-time, individual contributor role in the Portland, Oregon metro area. The CNA will work under the direct supervision of a licensed nurse and will be responsible for providing basic nursing care to patients.
Compensation :
The compensation for this position is $30 to $32 per hour, paid weekly.

Responsibilities:

• Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, dressing, and grooming.
• Take and record patients' vital signs.
• Assist with mobility and transfers.
• Monitor patients and report any changes to the healthcare team.
• Assist with feeding patients and keeping track of their dietary intake.
• Maintain a safe and clean environment for patients.
• Help with patient admission and discharge processes.
• Follow prescribed care plans and communicate any concerns to the healthcare team.
• Document patient information accurately and timely.
• Adhere to all healthcare and safety regulations.

Requirements:

• Active Oregon Certified Nursing Assistant / CNA License
• Current Basic Life Support (BLS) from the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross
• Certified Nursing Assistants / CNAs with as little as 6 months of CNA experience will be considered as long as they have 2 years of successful Caregiver experience.
• COVID Vaccinated
• Recent PPD Test or Chest X-Ray
• Clear criminal background check(s) & drug screening
• Reliable transportation & smartphone
