The TELEMETRY REGISTERED NURSE (RN) is a healthcare provider who through education and experience possesses a distinct body of knowledge and skills relative to the care of the adult patient across the lifespan who is experiencing severe, but not life-threatening, conditions requiring moderately complex clinical assessment, therapies, and interventions. He/she applies specialized nursing knowledge in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient response to moderately complex conditions, therapies and interventions.
He/she initiates nursing care, health teaching, and health counseling that support life and restore well-being. Nursing care is performed in accordance with the nurse practice act and under the direction and supervision of the appropriate client representative(s) on the assigned Telemetry Unit.
ATC Healthcare is currently looking for a Telemetry Nurse for a 13-week contract in Harvey, Illinois from 7-31-2023 through 11-4-2023. 12 hour day shift. Pay rate is $55.00/hr.

EDUCATION
Graduate of an accredited Diploma, Associate or Baccalaureate School of Nursing.
LICENSURE
Current and unrestricted RN nursing license in the state of practice.
EXPERIENCE
One year of experience as an RN in a Telemetry Unit in the last two years. Chronic Vent experience. Registered Nurse-RN must be competent in rhythm strip interpretation. Will be required to pass EKG strip test at orientation. Competent in rhythm strip interpretation.
CREDENTIALS
Current CPR at least to the BLS level; some client facilities may require ACLS; and other health and screening tests as required by specific facilities and/or regulatory agencies. Full covid vaccination plus at least 1 booster.
