The Home Care Manager will aide in the day-to-day operations. Together, the with the CEO and Regional Manager and other staff assures At Home Care’s relevance to the community, the accomplishment of At Home Care’s mission and vision, and the accountability of At Home Care to its diverse constituents.
Job Description:
Helps meet At Home Care values, mission, vision, and short- and long-term goals.
Provides general oversight of all At Home Care activities, helps performs the day-to-day operations, and assures a smoothly functioning, efficient organization.
Establishes the performance goals, allocate resources, and assess.
Demonstrate successful execution of business strategies for company services.
Direct and participate in growth activities to support overall business objectives and plans.
Schedules shifts by matching caregiver qualifications and availability to client’s needs.
Supervises caregivers, nurses and office staff and completes performance appraisals at specified intervals.
Work closely with the CEO to develop and accomplish goals and strategic plans established by CEO and the team.
Assures a work environment that recruits, retains and supports quality staff and volunteers.
Handling team building activities and motivating the teams to give quality care.
Orients caregivers and maintains current caregiver files in accordance with policies and procedures.
Motivate and lead a high performance management team; Mentor direct reports to cultivate skills and to increase consciousness of the interrelationship between each department in the operations groups.
Visits prospective clients/clients after referrals are made to introduce them to At Home Care.
Represent the Company at various community activities.
Qualifications
An Associate's Degree is required with a minimum of 3 years’ experience in a senior management position or At least 2 years of experience is required. Must have a Hnursing degree as well as One Year of Direct or Indirect Contact with the Elderly and /or Disabled.
This individual demonstrates critical competencies in four broad categories: commitment to results, business savvy, leading change, and motivating.
Knowledge in the following areas is required: human services, finance and personnel; oral and written communications; planning and evaluation; and governance.
Computer Skills-Working knowledge in Microsoft Office (Excel and Word)
