This function is not only a key competitive advantage but is also critical to the company’s overall financial performance. As a member of the Program Management team, you will be responsible for analyzing the health of Asurion’s programs through continual monitoring of operational KPIs, profitability, and competitive benchmarks. The insights from your analysis will be used to drive decisions on pricing, program design/optimization, and financial planning. The position will be responsible for creating and analyzing large data sets using both internal and external data as well as communicating the results across the organization in a way that drives the organization to action. This role provides tremendous visibility across the company as it requires close work and detailed understanding of Financial Planning & Analysis, Pricing, Customer Care, Underwriting, Legal/Regulatory, and Supply Chain.

Role and Responsibilities: 

  • Monitor, analyze, and share program KPIs with various internal and external stakeholders
  • Create useful models, formulas, and templates for data collection and analysis
  • Write, interpret, and optimize complex queries working with large sets of data
  • Ensure integrity and quality of data
  • Support interpretation of data in order to identify significant differences, relationships, and trends in data, as well as factors that could affect the results of analysis
  • Become an expert in Program Management KPIs to understand drivers and provide ad-hoc analysis as needed to support the business
  • Lead and coordinate across Asurion functions and with clients/partners to accurately assess program status and drive effective solutions

Here’s what you’ll bring to the team:

  • 1-2 years’ experience in business/data analytics, demand/financial planning & analysis, risk management, or operations preferred
  • Experience with coding languages and/or statistical or data visualization software preferred (SQL, Python, R, SAS)
  • Demonstrated ability to understand complex issues at a detailed level
  • Ability to communicate complex concepts and output to non-experts in both a written and verbal manner
  • Critical thinking skills in formulating hypotheses, interpreting results, and being able to make educated guesses when data may be sparse or unavailable
  • Intellectual curiosity and ability to handle high levels of ambiguity
  • Ability to anticipate problems and opportunities and the initiative to pursue solutions
