Position Overview

You will be responsible for performing a careful inspection of a dryer vent or chimney, completing a cleaning, writing up a report, and taking pictures of your inspection. If needed, clean out the chimney through the fireplace or dryer vent in the laundry room or kitchen. Asurety works primarily with multifamily housing such as apartments or condominiums. We provide you with a company phone with our inspection reporting app.

About 40% of your time will be inside the home doing inspections and cleanings of dryer vents and chimneys, the balance outside on 1st and 2nd-floor homes. Occasionally a third-floor inspection and cleaning are necessary. You will have a 32’ ladder and a full set of tools in your company truck. Interaction with the resident is minimal.

Schedule

The normal workday is from 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM. Expect to work 40 – 45 hours weekly.

Qualifications

· Able to carry and use a 32’ ladder. Ladder weight.

· Remodeling or construction experience a must.

· Valid driver’s license.

· Verifiable references.

Compensation

· Based on jobs completed. Average $800 per week. Out of area (up to 4-hour radius). Hotel, meals, etc. expenses paid.

· 40 hours accrued vacation in the first year. 80 hours accrued after the first year of employment.
