Astrophysics Inc. is Hiring an Imaging Technician Near City of Industry, CA

We currently have an immediate opening for an Imaging Technician located in City of Industry, California. This position is temporary with the opportunity for permanent employment.

Job Summary:

The Imaging Technician assists in producing x-ray products and verifies manufacturing documents and quality control check lists. The Imaging Technician is responsible for first start and troubleshooting finished products, collimation and assembly procedure, PC programming/imaging, network setup, running machine tests, full cycle scans and imaging.

 Essential Functions:

  • Assist in production work including electrical, mechanical and software.
  • Perform mechanical collimation alignment.
  • Perform PC programming/imaging and network setup for machines and workstations. This includes troubleshooting boards and electrical components, aligning detectors to receive clear image, and testing the machines.
  • Running full scans on machines and image testing.
  • Maintain adequate production and quality control documentation as required.
  • Analyze and troubleshoot machine performance per quality standards, prior to handing the machine to final quality control; escalate technical problems and anticipated schedule delays to manufacturing engineers and management.
  • Perform other miscellaneous duties as assigned by manager.

Required Education and Experience:

  • Associate’s Degree or equivalent combination of education and experience
  • Experience in a manufacturing environment preferred
  • Technical knowledge of product assembly in a Mechanical, Electrical and Software environment
  • Strong problem-solving, troubleshooting and analytical skills
