AstroNova is looking for full-time PCB Assembler. The hours for the position are 7:00am- 3:30pm. Position Summary/Objective
The PCB Assembler will follow engineering drawings and work instructions to assemble printed circuit boards and hand solder components to meet quality standards and industry guidelines. 

• Assembles printed circuit boards according to engineering drawings, hand soldering through-hole and SMD components in accordance with J-STD-001.
• Leaded and lead-free soldering on fine pitch components in various packages.
• Performing PCB re-works in accordance with engineering documentation and IPC-7711/7721.
• Applying RTV silicone per engineering drawings and manufacturing procedures, masking PCBs for conformal coating.
• Recording build data including expiration dates and calibration dates, ensuring validity for each at the time of assembly.
• Maintains neat and orderly workstation.
• Performs other duties from time to time as directed.

Required Education/Experience/Certifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Experience hand soldering through-hole and SMD fine pitch components
• Experience reading engineering drawings.
• Basic computer skills including MS Office.

Preferred Education/Experience/Certifications

IPC J-STD-001 & IPC-7711/7721 certification or training
