Job Description

This person should be able to perform standardized tests across a variety of product types. Work in the automotive or industrial space is a plus. Candidates should expect to perform tests across products including tire gauges, digital multimeters, small appliances, and related automotive and home improvement products. Communication is also critical for this position as it requires recording test data and reporting findings to multiple teams, while potentially suggesting improvements in products based on findings. As a key member of the Quality Assurance team, you report directly to the QA Supervisor.

Job Duties and Responsibilities

1. Record incoming quantities of products to be tested

2. Perform respective standardized tests to products, recording results through written forms and pictures/videos

3. Investigate potential underlying issues and suggest potential remedies

4. Maintain clean and sanitary working conditions

5. Clean and repackage products after testing

6. Suggest and create improvements to test procedures

7. Assist customer service team for technical support

8. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Job Requirements and Qualifications

1. Must be fluent in Mandarin speaking, reading, and writing (typing)

2. A high school degree is required; some college (Preferred) related to engineering, STEM major or another technical area

3. Preferred experience with product testing, hardware production, development, and working knowledge of electrical properties and components

4. DIY experience is a plus

5. Strong communication; Experience with communicating with suppliers/vendors

6. Experienced in Microsoft Office (Word and Excel)

7. Attention to detail, especially in documentation/record keeping

8. Highly disciplined and investigative, capable of finding root causes to product issues

9. Hands on experience; Must have working knowledge of methodologies to analyze root causes and provide corrective actions

10. Must be honest, reliable, trustworthy, flexible, and versatile

11. Able to adapt to fast-paced environment

12. Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds
