Astrion has an exciting opportunity for a Senior Civil Engineer  for the Ocean Engineering Technology Support (OETS) program supporting the Navy Division.

The Senior Civil Engineer will be a key player in the Navy Division’s growth and execution strategy. 

JOB DETAILS

LOCATION: Ventura, CA 

JOB STATUS: Full Time provided that the Customer awards sufficient work to support full-time employment

TRAVEL: Up to 5%

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS / SKILLS:

• A minimum of a Master’s degree in Civil Engineering:
• A minimum of ten years practical experience in research, development, design, test and evaluation in the use of advanced equipment for use in the deep ocean, including anchoring and foundation systems, load handling systems, cables and cable structures, and site surveying and investigation.
• Professional Engineering registration. PE.
• Security Clearance: Must be a US Citizen. A Top Secret c1earance based on an T5 investigation and deemed eligible for SCI access

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Assist NAVFAC EXWC to obtain environmental and construction permits, applications, and compliance standards. The contractor shall support NAVFAC EXWC in negotiations with federal, state, and local permitting authorities.
• The contractor shall provide assistance preparing the necessary environmental permitting documentation in support of the offshore operations awarded under this contract

SALARY RANGE: Estimated $150,000 USD/anually depending on experience.
