One of the innovative Aerospace Manufacturing Company in Everett, WA is looking for a Procurement / Purchasing Associate.

This is going to be more of an administrative duties supporting the current Procurement / Buying team with the company.

Pay : $30 / hr. - $38 / hr. (depending on overall consideration for tenure, job title, aerospace industry, RFP, negotiation preparation

Location : Everett, WA (100% onsite)

Shift : Standard Morning Shift (Monday - Friday)

9 Month Contract to Start

Key responsibilities

Carries out Procurement processes standards and operational plans including RFPs negotiation preparations and cost analysis.

Responds to client inquiries about order status changes or cancellations to ensure customer satisfaction.

• Carries out activities associated with purchasing goods materials supplies and services to ensure terms are in the organizations best interest.
• Prepares purchase orders approves payments and negotiates prices to ensure the procurement process goes smoothly under general guidance.
• Compiles price proposals financial reports and other data and information to provide input on reasonable prices.
• Prepares requests for proposals RFP and bid packages to take on new accounts. Monitors contract performance to ensure compliance with contractual obligations.
• Contacts suppliers to schedule or expedite deliveries to ensure resolution of problems such as shortages and missed or late deliveries.
• Established and productive professional contributor.
• Problems faced are difficult and may be complex.
• Works autonomously with limited supervision.
• Influences others within the work area through explanation of facts policies and practices.

Job Requirements

Must reside in WA as this role is Onsite in Everett, WA

• 3-4 years of relevant Supply Chain / Procurement / Purchasing experience
• Aerospace industry experience is highly preferred but open to other manufacturing environment experiences
• Needing great work ethic and strong professional communication skills
• Prior RFP experience highly preferred

Compensation is tied to the Colorado and Washington markets for jobs performed in Colorado and Washington. Other locations may be subject to variances based on location-related factors.
