Description:

This position supports the customer service department handling customer and distributor inquiries, order placement, works with the warehouse and shipping department to ensure customers receive their orders in a timely manner. Provides support to the sales team.

Daily Duties:

• Process orders that come through EDI system and direct orders
• Communicate order status by email and phone
• Answer incoming telephone calls
• Provide shipment details to shipping department
• Works w/ Accounting department on credit holds
• Monitor customer service inbox and respond to emails
• Monitor Open Order Report

Computer Use: Highly proficient in use of PC software including MSOffice, Word, and advanced Excel skills

Other Duties as Needed:

• Track shipments; provide updates
• Provides order or quote information to sales team
• Have new customers approved and enter new customer profiles
• Request replenishment of stock in the warehouse
• Other duties as assigned by Management
