Description :
Candidate will be responsible for supporting Safety Department with weekly communication. Day to day tasks include the following :
80% of communication is internal facing with the following : sending out weekly posts on Safety Topics that are happening in the auto industry, reading press releases, weekly news letters and then summarizing key findings and distributing information gathered to team.
Also working with HQ's Marketing team, reviewing marketing publishing's that relate to Safety, fact checking and ensure accuracy.
20% is external, working with 3rd party's Utilize industry resources to predict future trends from 3rd party safety rating organizations.
Assisting with PO's, invoices and assisting with tasks related to partnership between Client and 3rd party.
oMaintain official external safety test schedules
oMaintain Test Result Databases
IIHS Top Safety Pick Award reporting
oPopulate test results and final ratings
oCo-work with sales teams and their marketing agencies in correct usage of safety award advertisements
oMaintain award status and trophy inventory
Administrative Support
oTeam activity, project, and travel calendar maintenance
oVendor communication
oProject status tracking
oBudget Support Tasks
oSummarize & report research from 3rd party safety organizations and competitor
oSummarize & report future test protocols / requirement
oSafety research meeting minutes creation
oGeneral administrative support for department as needed
Skills :
research and analysis, communication and writing skills, microsoft office suite, powerpoint & excel, pivot table, macro, organizational and interpersonal skills
Additional Skills & Qualifications :
Must Have :
Most important is their soft skills in the following; Communication skills both written and verbal, professional, organized, time management, patient, positive attitude.
Proficient skills in MS Office Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook
Ideally 1 year of experience in a support role either Administrative, coordinator role where they were responsible for communication between multiple departments but would consider entry-level.
