• Communicates with clients to facilitate the collection of outstanding payments, ensuring prompt debt recovery. Tasks involve comprehending client payment procedures and vendor portals, furnishing requisite documentation, and acquiring remittance advice details for processed payments to support accurate cash application and audit support.
• Adheres to the collection process and escalation protocol for clients with delayed payments or unresponsiveness, incorporating legal demands, third-party agency involvement, and write-offs.
• Research unapplied payments.
• Ensures precise record-keeping of collection activities and client engagements while actively participating in updating the monthly reports for your portfolio.
• Collaborates with the billing and accounting teams to resolve customer inquiries on payment-related issues.
• Delivers superior customer service by promptly addressing client inquiries and concerns regarding outstanding balances and payment options while fostering positive and professional relationships throughout the collection process.
• Assists in customer refunds when necessary, involving research and effective customer communication.
• Assisting with credit requests as needed and requesting cleardowns to maintain accurate client accounts.
• Maintain accurate client records.
