We are seeking an Accountant II to join one of our top clients. Headquartered in Tampa, our client has been named one of Tampa's premier higher education providers!

Description:

• Prepares advanced, complex income and expenditure statements and budget reports

• Analyzes data, reports and records

• Reconciles accounts and/or statements as required

• Verifies the accuracy of vouchers, accounting classifications and records

• Conducts special studies to review accounting methods and procedures

• Maintains files and records (both computer and documents) as required

• Processes invoices, vouchers, records, etc. as assigned

• Reviews, calculates and analyzes accounting ledgers, payroll, benefits, budget(s), A/P, A/R and other accounts as necessary

• Reviews validity and proper authorization of accounts

• Prepares periodic and special reports of account status or analysis as required

• Creates, inputs, maintains and prepares computer reports as requested. May include higher level functioning depending on computer proficiency

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s Degree

• Three years of prior-related work experience
