Accounts Receivable Accountant

Location : Hartford, CT

Description : Great opportunity to gain experience in the field of Accounting and learn about the Receivables process in a well established company that has been in business for over 40 years.

Main responsibilities :

Posting payments and cash

Address customer queries, liaising with relevant departments if necessary.

Work collaboratively to ensure that the DSO (Days Sales Outstanding) figure is kept under the agreed limit.

Report any issues to the Accounts Receivable Team Leader or Manager

Review data uploaded to shared access and identify critical information

Document and maintain tracking of all key information

General administrative assistance surrounding AR processes.

Requirements :

Bachelors Degree in Accounting, Finance, Business or related field
