General Scope of Responsibilities:

To perform routine testing of samples from field samples of felts using a variety of testing equipment and communicating results. To maintain documents from venders, manufacturing, and ISO audits while also serving as an ISO internal auditor. To maintain the calibration of measurement equipment throughout the facility.

Specific Responsibilities:

• Foster and maintain an environment that encourages a high level of moral, legal, civic, social, and environmental awareness and behavior
• Maintain safe work standards that meet all legal requirements
• Analyze press felt samples, materials, and issue technical reports
• Update and maintain lab testing log
• Maintain calibration records of all measurement equipment
• Maintain Certificates of Conformance from venders per ISO requirements
• Convert and maintain electronic records & databases
• Serve as ISO internal auditor
• Other administration tasks
• CITL will assign responsibilities as needed

Reporting Relationships:

Reports to the Continuous Improvement Team Leader (CITL)

Preferable Position Requirements:

Education/ Experience:

• Associate Degree
• Two years of manufacturing experience
• Lean process knowledge/certification

Skills:

• Ability to take initiative, exercise independent judgment and produce results
• Interest in learning and desire for professional growth
• Microsoft Office
