Job Summary:
As a Sales Agentin our local office, you will provide outstanding service while identifying newsales leads through inbound quote opportunities and maintaining currentbusiness levels in order to achieve or exceed sales goals.
Job Responsibilities:
- Quotingand binding new business policies
- Contactingand following up on new business leads
- Educatingcustomers on current products and services
- Respondingto incoming calls, chats, and other correspondence in accordance with Companyand departmental quality standards
- Maintainingeffective communication with team members and promoting a strong team focus
- Properlyutilizing all policy management systems and understanding their features andfunctionality
- Meetingestablished department goals and objectives
- Organizingwork schedule to achieve timely processing of all responsibilities
- Anyother projects and tasks assigned by supervisor
Requirements
Qualifications:
Required
- Bachelor's degree
- Highschool diploma
- ActiveTexas P&C license
- Bilingual(English-Spanish)
- 2years of post-secondary education
- 1-2years of customer service call center experience
- 1-2years of sales and /or insurance sales experience
Core Competencies:
- Strongphone-selling skill set
- Excellentverbal, written and PC skills
- Mustbe able to work in a competitive, fast-paced, production environment.
- Maintainprofessionalism and an acceptable level of integrity
- Meetguidelines for attendance/punctuality and be receptive to flexible work hoursas needed
