Assurance Health System is Hiring an EMT Near Toledo, OH

Company Description

Assurance Health System is a regional system of short-term, inpatient psychiatric hospitals dedicated to providing highly specialized and compassionate psychiatric care for the senior population. With hospitals in Indiana, Ohio, and Kansas, we work closely with long-term care facilities, assisted and independent living facilities, area hospitals, psychiatrists, geriatricians, internists, family practitioners, and others.

Role Description

This is a full-time on-site role for an Emergency Medical Technician at Assurance Health System. The Emergency Medical Technician will be responsible for providing emergency medical services and responding to medical emergencies. This includes assessing patients' conditions, administering appropriate medical treatment, and transporting patients to medical facilities.

Qualifications

  • Emergency Services and Emergency Medical Services (EMS) skills
  • U.S. National Registry of Emergency Medical Technicians (NREMT) certification
  • Paramedic or equivalent certification
  • Knowledge of medicine and medical procedures
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to remain calm and composed in high-pressure situations
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team
  • Experience in a healthcare or emergency services setting

EDUCATION: High school or equivalent
DRIVING RECORD: Clean Driving Record LICENSE: EMT Certificate WORK EXPERIENCE: At least one year of EMT experience.
