Assurance, a Marsh & McLennan Agency is Hiring a Technology Solutions Consulting Coordinator Near Schaumburg, IL

Overview:
The Technology Solutions Consulting Coordinator’s primary objective is to support the day-to-day operations of HR Technology Consulting, while acting as a student of our business to identify opportunities for growth in your career and for our team. The Technology Solutions Consulting Coordinator will have an important role in continuously scanning the HR Technology market, researching service providers, and organizing our data; this will enable the Consulting team to remain an industry leader and address client needs, efficiently and accurately. The Technology Solutions Consulting Coordinator will also be instrumental in organizing client materials, project data, and managing the vast and varied work duties of the Technology Solutions Consulting team.
Responsibilities:

CONSULTING PROJECT SUPPORT

  • Attend project calls and document key discussion points and follow up tasks
  • Organize consulting schedules and create appropriate meeting invitations
  • Work side-by-side with consultants to develop client material
  • Timelines, recommendations, pricing comparisons, relevant research data, etc.
  • Maintain client project data in predefined data repositories (Smartsheet, shared network drives, etc.)

MARKET RESEARCH

  • Maintain RFI data in predefined data repositories (shared network drive)
  • Lead annual collection of HR Technology service provider feature data
  • Review changes and provide analysis of market impac
  • Formatting and addition of new data to master RFI document
  • Attend various HR Technology related events, webinars, and trainings
  • Develop understanding of sources and validity of market/survey data
  • Document client needs and assist consultants in confirming product functionality

COMMUNICATIONS

  • Manage email, instant message, and smart form communications with internal and external resources within professional timeframes and with effective business acumen
  • Craft communication as it relates to client documents, deliverables, and scheduling
  • Coordinate communications between clients, service providers, and internal service teams when required

EXECUTION OF CLIENT SERVICE

  • Work with Consultants, Project Managers, service teams, and other internal departments to support the customized HR Technology service strategies for each client
  • Build internal and external relationships through demonstrated accountability via multiple channels of communication such as phone, email and in-person meetings
  • Manage time effectively to prioritize workload, client service requests and service parameters on business processes


LEARNING

  • Develop deep understanding of human capital management ecosystems
  • Product and integration types
  • Basic to advanced functions by service provider
  • Industry specific trends – e.g., labor allocation for large hourly workforces, DOT compliant time tracking for clients with drivers, or specified training related to medical workforces, etc.
  • Develop foundational understanding of general consulting and project management principles
  • Develop and refine soft skills that will allow for navigation of a wide variety of client personalities, demands, and requirements
Qualifications:

REQUIRED:

  • Bachelor’s degree or 3 years equivalent professional HR experience
  • Deep understanding of the HR function
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite
  • Highly organized and accountable
  • Growth mindset, open minded to daily peer review and feedback on client deliverables and research


PREFERRED:

  • 3 or more years of documented experience working in or managing a human capital management and payroll solution (e.g., ADP Workforce Now, Paylocity, Paycor, Paycom, Ceridian, UKG, Workday, etc.)
  • Understanding of technology integration practices like EDI file feeds and APIs
  • Previous experience working on HR process reviews/audits and HR transformation projects
  • Previous experience working with an employee health & benefits advisor/broker
