Associations International (AI) is an association management company based in Lexington, KY, who partners with non-profit trade and career associations. Our job is to help those non-profits meet their mission and grow their membership through the work of our talented, dedicated team.
Our client partner, the Accounting and Financial Women's Alliance (AFWA), is seeking a Partnership and Business Development Coordinator to join their team! As the Partnership and Business Development Coordinator, you will play a pivotal role in expanding the network of partners, corporate memberships, affiliates, sponsors, and exhibitors for the AFWA. Primary responsibilities for this role will encompass prospecting, partner relations, and retention efforts to drive business growth and enhance organizational success.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS AND RESPONSIBILITIES
a.) Prospecting:
- Generate and maintain potential partners, corporate membership, affiliates, sponsors, and exhibitor lists
- Conduct market research to identify new business opportunities based on trends in the accounting and finance fields and competitor activities
- Utilize Sales Navigator and other technology to reach out to potential partners, corporate membership, affiliates, sponsors, and exhibitors
- Utilize social media for prospecting, lead generation and promotion
- Reengage former partners, corporate firms, affiliates, sponsors, and exhibitors
b.) Partner Relations and Retention:
- Maintain promotional materials related to partners, sponsors, and exhibitors
- Analyze campaign metrics
- Implement strategies to optimize lead quality and quantity
- Assist with marketing efforts of the organization
- Communicate on a consistent and regular basis with current and potential partners, corporate members, affiliates, sponsors, and exhibitors
- Establish and maintain a tracking system for communications
- Coordinate with companies and partners to understand their specific requirements and ensure successful delivery
- Maintain deliverables and ensure all deliverables are fulfilled
- Other duties as assigned
Requirements
QUALIFICATIONS AND SKILLS
- Experience with Sales Navigator and other lead generation technology
- Proven experience in lead generation
- Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret data
- Excellent communication and relationship-building skills
- Familiarity with affiliate marketing and performance metrics
- Ability to work collaboratively with other staff
- Proficiency in using CRM systems
- Proven experience with maximizing social media for marketing
