TPAPT, a national consortium of over 12,000 locally owned and operated Tutoring & College Advising Programs, is seeking an experienced on-site SAT Math Tutor to work with students in the Jenkintown, Lansdale, and Montgomeryville, PA, communities.

Candidates will be responsible for providing quality in-person tutoring to students studying for the SAT admissions test.

You will work closely with students to understand their unique learning styles and create customized lesson plans that support their individual academic goals.

The ideal candidate is passionate about education, exhibits strong communication skills, and is committed to helping students succeed.

Location: Jenkintown, PA and surrounding

Compensation: $30/hr-$50/hr

Classification: Part-time Employee

Tutoring Type: Private Learning Center, 60-90 minute lessons

Responsibilities

• Provide in-person tutoring sessions to students in grades 9-12
• Create lesson plans for individual students.
• Assign question sets and review answers
• Collaborate with students' families to keep them apprised of student progress.
• Maintain accurate records of session details, scores, and student progress.

Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree
• Access to a reliable car
• Established proficiency in subject matter.
• Experience teaching and/or tutoring students in grades 9 to 12.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• 4-12 hours per week of availability.

Pay: $30.00 - $50.00 per hour
