Join our team! Waterstreet is seeking an experienced Maintenance Tech for its community. The position is full-time working weekdays and/or weekends from 7:00am to 3:00pm. Great benefits. 

Requirements

The duties of the Waterstreet at Celebration maintenance staff are as follows below but is not limited to the following:

Building maintenance/janitorial: cleaning up the grounds, cleaning and cobwebbing hallways, walkways, stairs, walls, either sweeping, power washing, etc. the hallways, stairs. Draining down AC main drain lines, cleaning light fixtures and changing light bulbs when needed. Keep clean the dumpster corals and periodically power wash the corals. 

Lite handyman repair work: (checking leaks sometimes inside units or outside on the building or roof and trouble shoot and repair, fixing an occasional pipe, power washing balconies , which you may need to climb a ladder occasionally, paint where needed handrails, walkways, some interior painting and taping in a unit or common area ceilings with sheetrock repair, must be able to lift roughly 50 pounds, help other maintenance crew as needed if possible.

Staff members that are responsible for Building 8, includes cleaning our management office (vacuum if needed, clean bathroom, fill paper towel dispenser and soap dispenser if needed, empty office garbage’s. Also, cleaning the gym as needed, empty garbage, fill paper towel dispenser if needed. Clean and vacuum the social room as well as making sure there is toilet paper and paper towels in the bathroom. 

The hours of the maintenance dept are Monday through Friday 8:30am-5:00pm with two 15-minute breaks. One in the morning and one in the afternoon and a half hour lunch.
