Kennel Technician Responsibilities:

Kennel Technician Responsibilities:
- Feed, provide water, and administer medications to animals.
- Monitor animal health and well-being.
- Clean and disinfect kennels, cages, and common areas.
- Maintain overall facility cleanliness.
- Provide exercise and playtime for animals, ensuring their physical and mental stimulation.
- Maintain accurate logs of feeding, medication, and animal behavior.
- Assist clients during drop-off and pick-up.
- Provide updates and address client concerns.
- Assist veterinarians and technicians with animal handling.
- Follow safety protocols and facility policies to ensure a safe environment for animals and staff.
- Ability to responsibly handle animals of various sizes, strengths, and energy levels, including behaviorally at-risk dogs.
- Basic understanding of canine body language and behavior.
- Positive and friendly attitude, with strong communication and listening skills.
- Must be dependable, responsible, and punctual.
- Ability to work independently and think on your feet.
- Desire to make a positive impact on the lives of animals.
- Ability to work weekends.
- Minimum of 1 year experience as a Kennel Attendant (preferred).
