Pickleball Instructor (Green Lake Community Center)
If you have a passion for teaching/ experience playing pickleball, Associated Recreation Council (ARC) has an amazing role for you as a Pickleball Instructor . This is a part-time role at Green Lake community Center.
ARC, in partnership with Seattle Parks and Recreation, serves Seattle by offering access to licensed childcare and a variety of recreational and lifelong learning programs, classes, and activities. The Pickleball Instructor at Green Lake Community Center will lead participants through a variety of pickleball techniques and drills to learn the basics and improve there skill level. Program objectives are to learn new techniques, encourage fitness and healthy lifestyles.
Start Date:

• Apr 15, 2024

Workdays and hours (Class Schedule)

• Mondays (6:30-7:30pm), Thursdays(10:30-11:30am)
• We'll likely want to bring this same person on to teach summer camps if they are available.
• Summer Activity Camps Mon-Fri, 10am-noon (7/22-7/26) (8/19-8/23)

Students Age Group

• Monday & Thursday (18 )
• Summer Camps (10-13)

Pickleball Instructor job roles & responsibilities include

• Develop and deliver developmentally appropriate pickleball lessons and activities for each pickleball class. Instructors are expected to plan class curriculum.
• Plan, lead, and implement course appropriate activities for each pickleball class
• Instructors are expected to set up and clean up the space before and after each weekly lesson.
• Complete required administrative reports, such as attendance logs and incident reports.

Pickleball Instructor requirements include:

• Over 18 years of age
• Passion for teaching/ playing Pickleball.
• If hired, must pass criminal background check
• If hired, must provide proof of eligibility to work in the US and valid photo ID

Pay Rate:

• $24.50-$26.50
