The Director of Associated Integrated Solutions oversees the Associated Integrated Solutions Team, including Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers, Project Managers & Technical Services resources. Working with Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers and Associated Packaging’s sales personnel to design, sell, and commission automated integrated solutions to Associated Packaging’s end users solving or enhancing their production processes. The Director of Associated Integrated Solutions will report to the Vice President of Sales Operations

Key Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Oversee the Associated Integrated Solutions Team, including Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers, Project Managers & Technical Services resources.
  • Manage the Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers based on sales and customer needs and project workload.
  • Set Associated Integrated Solutions sales goals annually.
  • Coordinate with Marketing on Associated Integrated Solutions branding, internal & external messaging and promoting (Connect, API Website, LinkedIn, etc).
  • Manage Associated Integrated Solutions project funnel to ensure team is on track to goals.
  • Manage Associated Integrated Solutions proposals and project reviews for technical success, on time project commissioning, and profitability.
  • Assist Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers with solutions customer project needs.
  • As time permits, identify Associated Integrated Solutions projects by calling on end-users or working with API sales personnel.
  • Assist Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers and Associated Packaging sales to identifying customer needs and challenges.
  • Conduct detailed facility site inspection with API sales personnel and API end users.
  • Review customer accumulated data and specify other information required.
  • Assist with explanation and analysis of proposed solution by Associated Integrated Solutions.
  • Develop, with Associated Packaging Solutions Sales Engineers, an automated solution that solves a customer’s operational challenge.
  • Take lead or assist Associated Packaging Solutions Sales Engineers presenting the designed solution to the customer at their site or via virtual meetings.
  • Participate with Associated Packaging Solutions Sales Engineers and API sales detailing the proposal. Including operational functions and designs, equipment recommendations with specifications, the general scope of work for subcontractors.
  • Review and as needed prepare and present detailed presentations as required in the proposal.
  • Review of the ordering of the different segments through the normal Associated Packaging purchasing process.
  • Monitor Associated Integrated Solutions purchase orders through their life.
  • Manage the technical follow-up with the Associated Integrated Solutions Technical Services Resource, Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers, and the Associated End Users.
  • Answer technical questions with Associated Integrated Solutions Technical Services Resource, Associated Integrated Solutions Sales Engineers, Associated Suppliers & Vendors, and the Associated End Users.
  • The role continues with the following tasks as needed:
    1. Assist with Customer Acceptance Review.
    2. Participate as a member of the project team.
    3. Interface with the customer's project manager.
    4. Assist with schedule development and execution.
    5. Assist with coordinating the training of the customer’s personnel.
    6. Assist with completion of the work in accordance with the contract documents.
    7. Coordinate and ensure AIS Sales Team provides customers with commissioning/acceptance/training documentation.
    8. Approves of all Tech Data/System approvals submissions.
    9. Assist with gathering information as needed for Terms & Conditions or any other “legal” review.
    10. Assist with document consolidation and archiving.
    11. Coordinate with Vice President of Technical Service as needed.
    12. Any additional follow-up & coordination as required.
    13. Be on-site with the installation of the equipment as required.
    14. Participate in FAT’s, as required.
    15. Assist with testing of the system on-site as required.
    16. Assist with End User training and review of operation manuals as required.
    17. Assist with gathering project acceptance.

Education and/or Experience:

• Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Robotics, Business or other technical field preferred

• 4 years related experience, or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Competencies:

• Ability to work cooperatively with others.

• Ability to communicate effectively both written and verbally.

• Ability to organize workload, adapt quickly to change, and deliver under the pressure of deadlines.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office 365 programs including Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, Teams.

• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new software applications.
