Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Dental Assistant to join our team. As a Dental Assistant, you will play a vital role in providing quality dental care to our patients. Your responsibilities will include assisting the dentist during procedures, preparing treatment rooms, and ensuring the comfort of our patients. Responsibilities:
- Assist the dentist during dental procedures, including preparing instruments and materials
- Sterilize and disinfect instruments and equipment
- Prepare treatment rooms for patient examinations and procedures
- Take and develop dental x-rays
- Provide chairside assistance to the dentist during procedures
- Educate patients on oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions
- Perform basic dental laboratory tasks, such as pouring impressions and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain accurate patient records and documentation
- Schedule patient appointments and manage the dental office's appointment calendar

Experience:
- Previous experience as a Dental Assistant is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of medical coding and terminology
- Familiarity with infection control protocols in a dental setting
- Proficiency in Dentrix or other dental practice management software
- Basic knowledge of dental anatomy and terminology
- Experience with medical imaging techniques used in dentistry
- Strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
- Ability to work well in a team environment
- Experience working with pediatric patients is a plus
- Knowledge of taking vital signs is beneficial

Pay: $19.09 - $22.99 per hour
