Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals is Hiring a Data Analyst Near Golden, CO

You: You’re a business or marketing professional who loves working with data to generate actionable insights. When confronted with a challenge or question, your natural instinct is to dig in and find out “why.” You know your way around Excel and relational databases and can create data models and visualizations with ease. You are relied upon for your analytical and problem-solving capabilities, as well as functional experience to cultivate a positive customer relationship. You are expected to analyze customer data and offer recommendations on sales, marketing, and other business data centric initiatives. You can work with non-technical stakeholders to translate their requests into a query or report that provides the information they need. You’re looking to hone and grow your skillset by taking on new challenges and are also excited about learning how our business works and bringing fresh ideas and approaches to problem solving. Your idea of a good time is gathering data, looking for insights, and communicating your findings.

This full-time, exempt position reports to the PAC Senior Director of Marketing and works closely with several departments, including Information Services and the CEO.

Our primary sister associations include Associated Bodywork & Massage Professionals (ABMP), Associated Skin Care Professionals (ASCP,) and Associated Hair Professionals (AHP). Each of these is a leading professional association in the professions we serve, offering our members benefits, practice-building tools, and liability insurance to help them be successful in their careers. Where: PAC is situated in the foothills west of Golden, Colorado. We have a beautiful view of the spectacular Colorado high country. Tuesday through Thursday we work from our mountain office; Mondays and Fridays we have the option to work from home.

Core Responsibilities

  • Own day-to-day processes and infrastructure for the collection, analysis, and reporting key metrics across all PAC operating businesses.
  • Responsible for various special data-focused projects to support planning/forecasting, ongoing operations, and corporate development, as necessary.
  • In charge of day-to-day management and on-going optimizations of the organization’s Customer Relationship Management (CRM) database systems and marketing automation tools, including processes and workflow to ensure efficiency.
  • Build and deploy prospect and member email and SMS campaigns.
  • Develop insights and recommendations to help drive membership growth and improve member experience and retention.
  • Own the CRM platform from a marketing project management and change implementation perspective.
  • Create and maintain regular marketing and business reporting, including distributing weekly reports and dashboard creation/maintenance.
  • Focus on business intelligence and marketing insights with other research, analytics, and database projects.
  • Other responsibilities

o Make an estimated 25 expired member outreach calls per week (a duty shared by PAC employees) to help members renew their membership.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Extract and manipulate data from a variety of systems and offline reporting, utilizing analytics tools to analyze data, as necessary.
  • Exercise inquisitive mindset to transform business questions into actionable data exploration exercises, as well as take reported data and shape it into actionable business questions.
  • Translate insights into effective presentations that are outcome- and action-oriented supported by data storytelling.

Qualifications

Ideal candidate will have:

· 5 years of relevant work and/or academic experience in a highly quantitative environment

· Advanced Excel experience

· Familiarity with MS SQL Server and T-SQL, along with optimizing large SQL queries

· Experience with SQL Server Reporting Services

· Experience with MySQL server

· Experience with Python, R or other analytics-focused languages

· Strong grasp of statistics and enterprise systems

· Experience with visual analytics such as Tableau, Power BI, SEM Rush

· Intellectual curiosity, attention to detail, ample initiative, self-reliance, and solid project management skills

· Collaborative team player with a willingness to shift from high-level critical thinking to necessary mundane tasks required to complete a job

· Excellent interpersonal, verbal, and written communications skills

· Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously

· Ability to protect extremely confidential information

· A bachelor’s degree or the equivalent work experience is desired

For this full-time, exempt position, the competitive compensation range is $70,000–$90,000 a year.

The pay for this job level ($70,000–$90,000 a year) is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, applicable bargaining agreement (if any), and other law.
