Associa is Hiring a CMA Division Manager-Professional and Organizational Development Team Near Atlanta, GA

Job Title: Division Manager -Professional and Organizational Development Team

Status: Exempt

Location: Onsite

Reports to: Vice President of Professional and Organizational Development

Position Purpose

This position assists the Professional and Organizational Development Team. Its primary objective is to transition newly hired Community Association Managers (CAMs) into becoming a fully operational CAM, and to assist established team members in professional development when appropriate.

Major Tasks, Responsibilities and Key Accountabilities

  • Liaison between the CAM, Association Board of Directors.
  • Assist in transition to permanent Division Manager.
  • Effectively collaborate with CMA Departments.
  • Provide instruction on a variety of courses including employee orientation sessions, software systems, and management training.
  • Provide instruction on a variety of subjects for Board Member training and development.
  • Oversees communications between departments.
  • Supervise Action Item execution, and additional ad hoc requests from Association Boards.
  • Attend initial Board/Association meetings, and visit Associations with the CAM as needed.
  • Conduct CAM assessments as needed in concert with the Professional and Organizational Development Team.
  • Proactively monitors Association and Homeowner satisfaction and anticipates potential issues.

New Associations

  • Assists new CAMs to successfully manage onboarding of the client; including clearly communicating the priorities and tasks assigned to the manager.
  • Coordinate Meet & Greets for new associations when applicable.
  • Ensures Vantaca population of Budget, Documents, Insurance, and Additional Information.
  • Verify vendor list is known, updated in Vantaca and provided to VIVE.
  • Establishes all associations documents are uploaded into Condocerts, as well as CondoCerts Questionnaire Source Data is completed.
  • Proactively interacts with the transition team, upper management, accounting, administrative and human resources staff to ensure cooperation and support for a smooth transition process for new clients.

Secondary Tasks

  • Onsite Managers: Transfer immediately after initial CMA training to assigned division manager. Assist Onsite CAM bi-weekly for first 90 days (or longer if needed).
  • Outer Market Portfolio Managers: Transfer immediately after initial CMA training to assigned division manager and market mentor. Assist Portfolio Manager bi-weekly for first 90 days (or longer if needed).
  • Develop courses and provide instruction therein of continuing education courses provided by CMA's education school.

Requirements:

Skill Requirements

  • Professional interpersonal communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Strong conflict resolution and decision making skills.
  • Ability to prioritize (and reprioritize) requests.
  • Ability to demonstrate, coach, and have sensitivity to various learning styles.
  • Working knowledge of association budgeting and accounting processes.
  • Mentoring skills, motivational skills, project management skills, and professional presentation skills are critical to this role.
  • 10 or more years working in the association management industry.
  • 4 or more years employed by CMA
  • Proficiency using Microsoft Office applications, Outlook email, and PDF editing software.
  • Must be familiar with current CMA systems including Vantaca, CondoCerts, and Strongroom.

Licensing Requirements

  • Hold one of the following licenses of the Georgia Real Estate Commission:
  • Broker, Salesperson, or Community Association Manager

Credential Requirements

  • Hold the CMCA designation from CAMICB/CAI
  • or/and Hold the AMS designation from CAI
  • or/and Hold the PCAM designation from CAI.

Environmental Job Requirements

  • Office Setting, onsite location at CMA Headquarters Monday – Friday
  • Travel may be required to outer markets/states
  • Dress Code: Professional Attire/Business Casual
  • Lengthy Periods of sitting, standing, bending, and stooping are required.

Education Required

  • Bachelor's Degree preferred, but equivalent experience/coursework may be accepted.
