Assisting Hands of West Houston is seeking full-time, go get ‘em, ridiculously social, faster-than-a-speeding-bullet Community Engagement Specialist! In addition to developing some seriously amazing relationships with referral partners, senior care facilities, families, and other industry professionals around West Houston/Katy (and beyond), you’ll be working with a world-class operations team to make sure seniors in our area get the care they deserve!

You might be a good fit if you:
  • Have 3 years as a Social Worker (LMSW, LBSW), Occupational Therapist, Physical Therapist, LPN, RN, or Healthcare Sales Expert
  • Are skilled at building strong relationships, educating others who work within the senior care industry, and navigating organizational hierarchies
  • Demonstrate incredible written and verbal communication skills (you can’t over-communicate!)
  • Have the ability to learn and operate technology programs which power the business
  • Love working in a fast-paced environment where things change frequently
  • Have the ability to learn concepts of workplace happiness and utilize them across the organization
  • Strongly identify with our mission of “helping others” for our caregivers and clients
Essential Responsibilities Include (but are definitely not limited to):
  • Identify local influence centers (hospitals, nursing homes, assisted living with rehabilitation or respite care, doctor's offices and other health providers) to determine lead sources
  • Personally visit and arrange meetings with persons responsible for referring clients
  • Arrange and conduct presentations of Assisting Hands of West Houston services at staff meetings in hospitals, nursing homes, doctor's offices, and private companies
  • Attend trade shows, conferences and networking events representing Assisting Hands Home Care services (as necessary). Network with others in the industry to develop additional lead sources
  • Maintain and manage a (CRM) Customer Relationship Management System to track leads and follow-up on leads
  • Conduct training sessions to professionals and families
  • Coordinate with the admin staff to ensure client needs are communicated and care starts in a timely manner
