- Active Florida Level II Background
- CPR Certified
- Active Florida CNA license or HHA certificate from an accredited facility
- HIV/AIDS, Alzheimer's, and Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication Training Certificates
- Minimum 1-year experience as a caregiver in a facility or with an agency
- Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license
- Ability to effectively communicate in English, both orally and in writing
- Excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to work independently
- Assist clients with personal care tasks, such as bathing, grooming, and toileting
- Provide mobility assistance, including transferring and positioning clients
- Prepare meals and assist with feeding, as needed
- Perform light housekeeping duties, as needed
- Escort clients to appointments and errands, as needed
- Document care provided and communicate any changes in the client's condition to the nurse supervisor
