We have openings for MALE caregivers to serve clients in Contra Costa County

Qualifications:
  • Compassionate individual who enjoys caring for others
  • Strong team player with a reliable work history
  • 1-2 years of professional caregiving experience in various environments (in-home care, independent/assisted living, memory care community, hospital, and rehab)
  • Ability to pass background check
  • Licensed driver with insured and reliable transportation (proof of insurance required)
  • Current TB or chest X-ray and CPR certification
  • Reliable transportation
Education: High School Diploma/GED required
Primary Duties:
  • Offers companionship
  • Assists with daily activities such as dressing guidance, grooming, and meal preparations
  • Provides medication reminders and runs errands, including light housekeeping and laundry
  • Offers personal care services including bathing, dressing, mobility assistance, incontinence care, and feeding
  • Provides transportation to doctor's appointments, beauty shops, and other necessary destinations
Hours: Dependent on assignment; Shifts available 24 hours a day, 7 days per week and based on availability. Assisting Hands does not guarantee hours.
FLSA Status: Non-exempt, hourly
