Assessment Resource Center is Hiring an Administrative Assistant / Front Desk Near Frisco, TX

The Assessment and Resource Center for Autism and Neurodiversity (ARC) is looking to add a part-time Administrative Assistant to join our purpose-driven, values-based team in Frisco, Texas.

Job Summary:

The ideal candidate is passionate about helping families with children with special needs by elevating the standard of assessment experiences to assist the team in guiding families towards the best course of treatment.

The right applicant will be a self-starter who demonstrates honor, integrity, and compassion while committed to continuous learning.

The right person will be primarily responsible for client relations, maintaining scheduling, following up on insurance claims, billing, responding to voicemails and emails, and supporting the clinical team with assessment needs.

Responsibilities:

  • Answering phones and returning phone calls
  • Maintaining email correspondance
  • Educating and guiding families through the assessment process
  • Maintaining billing and insurance claim inquiries
  • Maintaining the team schedule
  • Collaborating with the Operations Manager on supplies, materials, and other operational needs
  • Assisting the Marketing strategies
  • Supporting clinical staff in assessment and training needs
  • Attend training conferences offered by the supervising clinical psychologist and outside organizations.
  • Participate in establishing job requirements and goals; perform duties at the desired level of competency.
  • Review and ensure timeliness, accuracy, availability, and security of information.
  • Comply with Infection Control and Health and Safety policies and procedures.
  • Understands, adheres to, and models Core Standards as defined organizationally and specifically within the practice.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • High school diploma, GED, or higher
  • Some experience in office administration preferred
  • Experience with special needs preferred
  • Interest in working with others and helping individuals with autism and neurodiversity
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills, including consistently demonstrating a friendly demeanor and positive attitude
  • Excellent written and verbal communication
  • Proactive thinker and detailed planner
  • Ability to handle information confidentially
  • Meticulous attention to detail and a high level of accuracy
  • Ability to multitask and thrive in a fast-paced environment
  • Experience meeting regular deadlines
  • Ability to continually learn and grow in your knowledge base within this field
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, especially Excel

ARC provides twelve days of PTO per year plus six days of sick leave and paid time off for federal holidays. ARC also provides support with ongoing training and certifications to help with your career path and advancement.
