Summary 
Mercury Security, is currently located in Long Beach, California, is recognized as the global leader in the design, manufacture and supply of access control security technology. Mercury Security is part of HID Global, the provider of trusted identities to the world's people, places and things. The Long Beach office will relocate to Cypress, California. The Production Assembler I will be supporting Production Department with daily production activities and work flows. This Production Assembler I will also be required to interface with other internal customers.
Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform sub-assembly works.
• Programming and some basic test of reader assemblies and maybe some functional testing of the printed circuit board assembly.
• De-assembly and assembly of the readers.
• Perform final reader mechanical assembly before shipments.
• Perform mechanical assembly.
• May perform soldering rework of either SMT or Through-Hole
• Support in packaging and shipping.
• Assist other staffs when needed.
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 35 lbs.
• Other duties and responsibilities as assigned by the Production Supervisor.

Education and/or Experience
• Minimum 1 year of related work experience.
• Familiar with ISO9000:2015 environment.

• Computer skills to include Word, Excel, and Window 10 will be a plus.

Work Requirements
• Compliance to all relevant HID Global policies and procedures related to Quality, Security, Safety, Business Continuity, and Environmental systems.
• Travel and fieldwork, including international travel may be required. Therefore, employee must possess, or be able to acquire a valid passport.
• Must be legally eligible to work in the country in which you are hired.
 

If Remote NAM or Hybrid with Remote NAM Consideration (iPas U1 roles) The wage range for this role considers a broad scope of factors that are considered when making compensation decisions, including but not limited to: skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs. The disclosed range estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic differential associated with the location at which the position may be filled. At HID, it is not typical for an individual to be hired at or near the top of the range for their role and compensation decisions are dependent on the facts and circumstances of each case. The base salary for CA is $35,360 to $39,845.
