Network/Systems Administrator II

Ameristar Perimeter Security USA, an ASSA ABLOY branded company is looking for a Network/Systems Administrator II. This position’s primary responsibility will to maintain and improve the company's IT infrastructure, including servers, network systems, and software applications. The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment with multiple deadlines.

Who you are:

• Bachelor's degree in computer science, information technology, or related field.
• Minimum of 5 years of experience in systems administration or a related field.
• Experience with Microsoft Windows Server, Active Directory, and Group Policy.
• Strong understanding of networking concepts and protocols, such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, and VPN.
• Experience with virtualization technologies, such as VMware or Hyper-V.
• Experience with Microsoft 365 suite of tools.
• Familiarity with cloud technologies, such as AWS or Azure.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

What you will be doing:

• Administer and maintain the company's servers, including physical and virtual machines, storage systems, and backups.
• Manage network systems, including routers, switches, firewalls, and wireless access points.
• Monitor and maintain software applications, including installation, configuration, and upgrades.
• Troubleshoot hardware and software issues, diagnose, and resolve technical problems, and perform root cause analysis.
• Perform routine maintenance tasks, such as system updates, patching, and vulnerability assessments.
• Administer and maintain the internal phone systems for companies in the Perimeter Security Business Segment.
• Collaborate with other IT teams within ASSA ABLOY to ensure smooth operation of the company's technology infrastructure.
• Provide technical support to end-users, including resolving ServiceNow tickets and escalating issues to 3rd level support as necessary.
• Create and maintain documentation of system configurations, policies, and procedures.
• Implement and maintain security policies and procedures to ensure the confidentiality, integrity, and availability of data.
• Mobile device lifecycle management.
