Location: New Haven, CT

The Door Security Solutions finance and accounting team is seeking a Senior Accountant to join the team in New Haven.
We seek a results oriented accounting professional. This is an outstanding opportunity for a professional accountant to join our dynamic, fast-paced and highly professional organization. This position is responsible for general accounting which includes, journal entries, and ad hoc financial reporting. Additional responsibilities include:

  • Maintenance and reconciliation general ledger accounts monthly
  • Performing ad-hoc database queries and financial analysis for management reporting
  • Workflow & routing maintenance of payables portal
Requirements include:
This is an excellent opportunity for a resourceful person with strong organizational and analytical skills. The successful applicant must have:
  • B.S. degree in accounting with at least 1-3 years of experience
  • Knowledge of ERP & Data Warehouse Applications a plus
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Suites (Word, Excel, PowerPoint Outlook and Access). Excellent Excel skills including vlookup, charts, pivot tables, etc.
  • Excellent organizational and communication skills (both written and verbal)
