Primary Duties and Responsibilities

(50%) Perform administrative activities to support the departmental functions:

·Review purchase requisition requests for purchase order creation on SAP

·Determine correct approvals are met in accordance with the Delegation of Authority and obtain approvals as necessary

·Create purchase orders on SAP

·Reconcile invoices when there are discrepancies when compared to the purchase order

·Work with cross-functional teams (Sourcing, Master Data Management, Vendor Maintenance, etc.) to aid with vendor setup on the system making sure due process was observed, and necessary approvals were received

(20%) Aid with knowledge management for the business:

·Mine complex and unstructured data and analyze or synthesize it into actionable insights for leadership reporting and formulation of sourcing strategies

·Partner with cross-functional teams such as Finance, Sourcing, etc. to document processes and procedures within the Sourcing organization

·Identify and manage documentation and reporting of key metrics reflective of the sourcing team’s performance

(15%) Ensure compliance with internal and external business processes:

·Ensure accuracy with documentation for internal and external audit purposes

·Support data collection and partner with external consultants to ensure accurate reporting pertinent to organization-wide sustainability and compliance initiatives

·Partner with our controllership teams to device easy to implement checks and balances in place within difference sourcing processes implemented across the organization

(15%) Enhance the performance of the sourcing organization by:

·Maintaining supplier scorecards to get insight into vendor’s performance against service, quality, and cost metrics

·Assess key market metrics for raw materials such as trends, forecast, geopolitical influences, new vendors, etc. for the edification and consumption of the sourcing team

·Identify potential opportunities with cost savings based on secondary research and data analysis

·Identify and champion opportunities for process improvement within the sourcing team

Education and Experience Profile

·Requires a Bachelor’s degree in a business, technology or related discipline

·2 - 4 years’ experience in a Sourcing Analyst role/function

·Experienced working within SAP, QAD and/or other ERPs

·Experience within the sourcing and procurement function preferred

·Experience with e-sourcing tools including spend analytics is preferred

·Experience in working with global suppliers

·Experience with managing workflow through multi-tasking and prioritizing based on business needs

Required Skills

·Ability to use analytical techniques in everyday business situations as applicable for effective problem solving and decision-making

·Proficiency in Microsoft Office WORD, PowerPoint and most importantly EXCEL

·Strong secondary research skills

·Strong presentation skills – for creation of informational dashboards, etc.

·Strong collaboration, organizational and communication skills

·A positive team player attitude with the ability to communicate effectively to facilitate discussions to drive towards a consensus

·Confidence to interface with employees at all levels in the organization

·Resilience, stamina, and flexibility to call for decisions, actions, and solutions that at times supersede a standard workday schedule.

Work Environment:

Working conditions are normal for an office environment. 

Pay Range: $53,807-$78,917.

This “base salary range” is a reasonable estimate for this position at the time of posting. Pay within each range is based on a variety of factors including, but not limited to, to primary work job-related knowledge, skills, experience, business requirements and geographic location.
