Primary Duties and Responsibilities
(30%) Continuous Improvement
·Compile, coordinate and lead monthly site Goal Deployment Reviews.
·Prioritize Continues Improvement project and activities with all manufacturing and distribution operations and provide management tracking and reporting of the project portfolio.
·Lead teams reduction of waste and increase productivity by utilizing methods such as Lean and Six Sigma tools.
·Evaluate, adhere and make recommendations for individual and departmental standards throughout DC operations.
·Develop and execute training programs to foster a culture of continues improvement for all site associates.
·Provide specific tool training for project team members, and guide and mentor trained individuals.
·Personally execute CI projects concurrently.
·Conduct Productivity Brainstorm sessions quarterly during the fiscal year
·Maintains a consistent approach to corporate metrics and reporting.
·Conduct root cause analysis to determine metrics and troubleshoot operational inefficiencies.
·Drive value stream mapping to define “As-Is Analysis” and the transition to Future State
(20%) Systems/Processes
·Provide guidance and resource to internal team.
·Understanding of software, applications and system needs, acquire quotes and make needed recommendations.
·Take a proactive approach to minimizing internal and external errors.
·Act as a "bridge" between the DC and Corporate partners
·Maintains and develop Standard Operating Processes (SOP) across all DC processes and provide workflows.
·Monitors and assures SOP adherence and processes control
(20%) Project Management
·Provide guidance to internal and external partners executing projects, within capital budgets and process improvement projects.
·Lead/conduct weekly/monthly project reviews with site project owners and vested members.
·Assists the CFC management team on project selection, execution and tracking of projects.
·Coordinates/prioritizes CI project activity within responsible operations.Provides overall management tracking and reporting of the CFC project portfolio
·Work with partners to establish departmental strategies and goals in the various areas
·Assessment of current & future state for facilities and equipment, budgeting, regulatory compliance, emergency response, and workforce planning.
(20%) Leadership
·Model the ASSA ABLOY - HHI Values & Behaviors to achieve service excellence, meet and exceed organizational objectives and support fiscal responsibility.
·Drives a culture of compliance with OSHA safety and health rules.
·Manage and implement facility budgets with their operating and capital expenses of the distribution function in conformance with the established budget guidelines, including formulation and implementation.
·Maintain and promote positive employee relations through proper and timely communications and adherence to SOPs.
·Provide leadership to direct reports in the execution of work plans and long and short-term goals.
·Lead all Lean improvement programs and initiatives including 5S, PDCA, Kaizen, etc.
·This position has direct supervisory responsibility for CI Analysts, will work to develop and support the CI Analysts.
(10%) Other
·Other duties as assigned/ required by supervisor/manager.
Education and Experience Profile
Minimum Qualifications
·Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Engineering, or related field
·4 years of distribution/manufacturing managerial experience supervising direct reports including hiring, evaluation, and coaching.
·4 years of experience in a warehouse, distribution, or logistics business operation.
·Certified Lean Six Sigma Black Belt preferred.
·Experience implementing a Lean culture.

·Continues Improvement training required / must be knowledgeable in Lean Six Sigma methodologies.

·In-depth knowledge and understanding of Distribution Management Systems
·Knowledge of key distribution functions (i.e. Receiving, Inventory Management, Order Processing, Replenishment, and Shipping).

·Strong written and oral communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
·Skilled in Microsoft Office applications.
·Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
·Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from senior management and peers

·Must be able to lead, work and thrive in a cross functional team environment.
·Must be able to perform without specific daily direction.

·Manual Dexterity: The ability to make quick, accurate, skillful, coordinated movements of one hand , one hand in coordination with its arm, or two hands to grasp, place, move, or assemble objects.

·Lifts 26-40 pounds without assistance many times a day and lifts 41-75 pounds without assistance daily.Additionally, this role lifts 76-100 pounds with assistance daily.

Working conditions are normal for a warehouse environment in a distribution center.
