FDT-Paint Shop is seeking an entry level Coating Applicator for industrial coatings and applications. This shop position applies high performance coatings, such as FBE powder coatings, epoxies, polyurethanes, and zinc rich coating systems. Job Type: Full-time using advanced skills to perform the following:

**Job Responsibilities**

* Perform tasks in confined and elevated workspaces

* Prepares and racks manufactured products for powder coating

* Organizes parts to be painted and or powder coated

* May use industrial powder coating ovens to cure powder coated products

* Cleaning and maintaining of application equipment

**Safety:**

* Always practices safe work habits and follows strict safety guidelines and compliance

* Adheres to job and machine specific safety protocols

* Communicates safety concerns/needs with the site safety

**Key Requirements - What You Will Bring to the Team:**

* 1 yr. Coating Applicator experience is preferred

* Should understand application coating equipment adjustments and maintenance

* Ability to meet deadlines, effectively prioritize and deliver all tasks on time

* Requires working in confined and elevated workspaces

* Must be able to work varying schedules prefer ability to work either day or evening shift and transition to either to meet client/customer demands

* Ability to push, pull, lift, and carry 40lbs

**Education & Experience and Licenses or Certifications:**

* High School Diploma or GED

* Basic Math be able to calculate ratios

This position works in an industrial environment, requires routinely lifting 50lbs, occasionally lifting up to 75lbs and team lifting more; the position works in standing, walking, climbing ladders, working on platforms, confined spaces, and with and around large and small machinery.
