Aspirus Wausau Hospital in Wausau, WI is seeking a HEALTH UNIT COORDINATOR to join our team in the Outpatient Dialysis Department!

The Health Unit Coordinator provides support in patient care areas to visitors, patients, and staff in a professional and caring manner.

HOURS: Full time or 0.9 FTE, 72 hours per two weeks pay period. EVERY OTHER WEEKEND/HOLIDAY.

Experience/Qualifications

· Knowledge of patient care standards and general office practices normally acquired through completion of a High School diploma, GED, or equivalent combination of education and experience., and courses in computer applications and medical terminology.

· Graduation from an accredited program for Health Unit Coordinators, or training/education to meet job requirements beneficial.

· Two years’ experience as a Health Unit Coordinator beneficial.

· Annual accrual of CEUs/continuing education requirements per Education Council recommendation for the given year.
