FAMILY SERVICES COORDINATOR

AspireHope NY, Inc. has an immediate opening for a Family Services Coordinator to provide supervision of staff and services. Will assist in recruitment and training of new employees. Must have good organizational, communication and data entry skills. Must be able to work independently or as a vital part of the team with other Family Support Coordinators. Experience in supervising employees, creating budgets, program oversight and Medicaid Wavier billing preferred.

Requirements:

• Must be a parent or caregiver of a child with emotional/behavioral or developmental disability to qualify to complete the required Provisional Family Peer Advocate application within 30 days of hire.
• Must have experience in utilizing children's mental health education and other community services.
• Good communication, organizational and problem-solving skills are required.
• Must either have a minimum of three years' experience providing Family Peer Support Services, at least one year of which is as a credentialed Family Peer Advocate or a master's or bachelor's degree in a human service related field; or an associate degree in a human service related field and three years' experience in human services or a high school degree and five years' experience in human services.
• Occasional travel and some evenings/weekends required. Must have reliable home internet and home office space, reliable transportation and flexible schedule.

Full Time: 40 hours weekly

Pay: $16.70 per hour
