We are seeking a compassionate and highly skilled Registered Nurse (RN) to join our team on a PRN basis. The PRN RN will be responsible for providing high-quality patient care, assessing patient health needs, developing and implementing nursing care plans, and maintaining accurate medical records. This role is ideal for an experienced RN looking for flexible work hours and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact on patient care.

Duties:

• Patient Care: Provide professional nursing care to assigned patients in accordance with established facility policies and procedures.
• Assessment: Conduct thorough patient assessments, including physical, emotional, and psychosocial aspects, to determine the appropriate nursing care plan.
• Care Planning: Develop and implement individualized care plans based on patient assessments and physician orders.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, including care plans, progress notes, and medication administration logs.
• Communication: Collaborate with physicians, healthcare team members, and patients' families to provide coordinated and comprehensive care.
• Education: Educate patients and their families about health conditions, treatment plans, and preventive care practices.
• Compliance: Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations, facility policies, and best practices in nursing care.
• Emergency Response: Respond to medical emergencies and provide immediate and effective nursing interventions.

Requirements:

- Valid RN license in the state of practice
- Experience in a hospital or medical office setting
- Ability to work on a PRN basis
- Ability to administer injections and medications
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Knowledge of occupational health practices
- Familiarity with neonatal ventilators is a plus
