OPEN POSITION :

Position : Emergency Management Coordinator

Department : Emergency Management

Hours : Full Time. Days. Benefits include 401K, medical, dental and vision insurance, life insurance and short-term disability.

Aspire Rural Health Systems is seeking a full time Emergency Management Coordinator in our Emergency Management department.

QUALIFICATIONS :

• Certified Emergency Manager (CEM), Associate Emergency Manager (AEM), Associate or bachelor’s in emergency management, preferred.
• Current BLS certification required. Current ACLS and PALS certification preferred.
• Completion of Incident Command System (ICS) 100, 200, 700, and 800 within 3 months from date of hire. Completion of ICS 300 and 400 within 1 year from date of hire
• Experience in program coordination preferred. Analytical skills necessary in order to evaluate and make recommendations regarding emergency management issues.
• Familiarity with healthcare emergency preparedness, including safety, security, HAZMAT, OSHA, NIMS, HICS, HVA, CMS, and hospital accreditation body related criteria.

RESPONSIBILITIES : The primary purpose is the coordinator is responsible for the coordination of emergency management processes and activities, including compliance with federal and state regulations, and other regulatory bodies, as it relates to emergency preparedness for all Aspire Rural Health System locations.

In addition, this position assists with quality assessment and performance improvement projects and initiatives for Emergency Preparedness.
