What We’re Looking For:
ASPIRE is looking for passionate individuals interested in providing and overseeing behavioral therapy programs to our patients in the greater Austin, TX area. We are currently seeking to fill part time positions with the potential to increase to full time.
Consultants apply knowledge of the principles of behavior analysis in a one-to-one setting to clients with developmental disabilities. Responsibilities include:
Conducting assessments & producing written assessment reports.
Developing individualized program treatment plans.
Ensuring that all treatment methodologies are evidence-based and reflect the most recent research findings.
Providing direct instruction, training, and support to client and family members during regularly scheduled home based visits.
Providing direct instruction, training, support to behavioral therapist staff during regularly scheduled supervisory visits.
Reviewing and evaluating the performance of the behavioral therapist staff to ensure proper implementation of treatment plan.
Working closely with the behavioral therapist staff in their provision of direct services, and providing the needed resources to assist clients, parents, and behavioral therapists in the development and implementation of behavior protocols.
Providing written reports in a timely manner for authorizations, program reviews, re-authorizations.
Maintaining certification and following ethical guidelines set by the BACB.
Applicants must be energetic, reliable, and able to commit to working during periods of greatest client need (weekdays after 3pm).
BCBA Qualifications:
Certification under the Behavior Analysis Certification Board (BACB) as a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA) or BCBA-D.
Prior experience working as an ABA therapist (in-home settings preferred).
Possession of a valid driver’s license and ability to meet driving requirements.
Ability to work effectively with clients, family members, co-workers, and other professionals.
Ability to provide supervision and effective feedback to therapists.
